March 2022 Night Paving
Later this year, workers will install rubberized asphalt as the top layer of I-10 south of Baseline Road.
After placement, the concrete pavement will be tested for strength and thickness.
On March 15, 2022, workers placed approximately 3,300 feet of concrete pavement. The pavement is 8.5 feet wide and 13 inches thick. That is over 112 mixer loads of concrete delivered to the site.
On March 15, 2022, workers placed concrete pavement on eastbound Interstate 10 south of Guadalupe Road.
A truck-mounted attenuator’s caution lights warn drivers that the off-ramp is closed.
